Angola, classified by the United Nations as a country with medium human development, exhibits marked social and regional asymmetries. Socio-spatial inequalities are expressed through significant disparities in indicators of well-being and social progress across the provinces. This article aims to map multidimensional inequalities in Angolan provinces, based on dimensions related to education, health, and the economy. The data were extracted from various reports of the National Institute of Statistics of Angola and different ministries, processed and analyzed using spatial econometrics techniques, with the support of GeoDa software, in order to identify spatial patterns of concentration of the variables studied. The results reveal broad and persistent inequalities across all analyzed dimensions. The Eastern, Northern, and Southern regions, and to a lesser extent the Central region, show high levels of multidimensional deprivation. The case of the Lundas stands out: despite being rich in natural resources, they are marked by gender inequalities, unemployment, a shortage of specialized human resources, and high fertility rates. The province of Luanda, despite its economic dynamism, displays critical disparities in social indicators, such as low school enrollment rates, high maternal and infant mortality, high unemployment, and low GDP per capita, suggesting the presence of a possible development trap.
