O Turismo no Centro de Portugal: Satisfação dos Residentes, Impactos Percebidos e Envolvimento nas Decisões

A auscultação das comunidades locais é fundamental na aferição dos impactos do turismo. O objetivo do presente estudo consiste em aferir a satisfação dos residentes da região Centro de Portugal em relação ao turismo na sua região, assim como os fatores que afetam os impactos percebidos do turismo, utilizando como quadro de referência a Teoria das Trocas Sociais. Os resultados mostram que os inquiridos estão globalmente satisfeitos com os impactos do turismo nas suas regiões. Além disso, verifica-se que a dependência económica face ao turismo e o envolvimento nas decisões relativas ao planeamento turístico influenciam positivamente os impactos percebidos do turismo. Os dados obtidos colocam em destaque a necessidade de envolver mais fortemente as comunidades locais nas decisões relativas ao planeamento e ao desenvolvimento turístico da região.
